Let's go to the most important part of the review : the output

To make it simple, I will just post up example of some video playback on the TV.

WD TV 1080p HD Player : Settings

Well, before we enter the output of the player, we must go to the settings of the player.

This is my home plasma TV for testing it.


A lousy TV, but still better than nothing.

Once you open the player, you will enter this screen


and you can select other formats to view by pressing up and down



In Photos and Videos you can see selections like this.


If you want to play the selected video/picture, just press enter on the remote control.

Audio setting


This will enable you to do more customized setting on the audio and video output.




To update firmware, you can do it from any USB drive connected to it.
